Steam Profile Integration 2.1.13

Said to 2.1.11+ for version 4.4+, but it doesn't work with 4.6. Just bought it and it's entirely unusable.

Great addon and works well if you're on 4.4 or below, however the updates have been very slow and 4.6 is completely incompatible. 

Application is broken with Invision 4.6. It was also buggy with 4.5. Author has been promising new updates a year ago and multiple more times until now. I had to fix 4.5 error by myself. This should be removed from market or at least provide us with a standalone steam login method. How can we run a community when majority of members have signed up with steam but now your application is broken for months and steam login will not work. Members can not log in. But you still continue to accept new purchases of your app.

Currently using the latest version (2.1.13) however, after updating invision to 4.6, users have been unable to log into my forums, and I myself am locked out of AdminCP, as I utilized Steam Integration as the default log-in method.

First, this didn't work on my board.

I had a great communication experience with the autor, who solved my issues. It now works well, as intended.

I've been testing this on a large forum and it's flawless. Aiwa has been amazing with support and I highly recommend this app!

An update has been released to address the issues I highlighted below. I was also compensated for my renewal due to the lack of updates for some period of time.

Support is great, but updates are a very rare commodity. Currently, steam IDs don't populate in core_members which means the profile integration does not work until someone manually sets said members steam ID through the database. This is very tiresome especially when you get 30-40 new registrations per day. I paid $35 and have to pay $12.50 every 6 months for no updates what-so-ever.

With no updates committed, I reached out again on July 15th and got a response.

I've been debugging this issue, along with an another for a couple days, that sees the Steam servers respond with a bad login about 40% of the time. I have what you're asking about fixed but it doesn't do any good if Steam won't validate a login consistently. 

I'll evaluate where I am at the end of the weekend and see if I want to release a hotfix with only some of the bugs fixed. 

September 16th, still no updates I yet again reached out and got yet another empty response.

Now it's November 12th and still NO updates. I wouldn't mind if it was a small or simple bug, but this bug is affecting the main functionality of this plugin which is automation. Why did I buy this in the first place if I have to do everything manually anyways?! 6 months and no updates, I'd firmly recommend you avoid buying this until the developer commits to maintaining his work.

A very good application for gaming communities and similar websites. Works very well.

This works flawlessly, very easy to install.
Had it a month ago and everything is displayed beautifully.

Works awesome! Anyone with a gaming site this is a must have. Aiwa is an amazing dev and very helpful, bought many add-ons from him over the years.

Installed originally without any issues on my first site but on my second site there was a conflict with a removed steam login handler, support was first class with the issue sorted in no time. If you want support that will respond quickly and be helpful then don't worry

Tried to email him for support, got an invalid email response. Found no way of contacting him for support for the application.

I just bought this app, but it doesnt work on my IPS 4.5. Is there any chance you can edit the app to make it run on my version of IPS or at least refund the money ? I would prefer the first option.

i install on my Community but  on profile i see steam  but on admincp need Steam API Key, what is this

where i cand find  this Steam API key ?

The application works great, you can verify on my forum. And I am opposed to the app getting bad reviews due to the fact that someone cannot contact the author. On his website the method is indicated via mail.

I am only giving 3 stars because it keeps doing Validation Failed and I would love to have that fixed if possible.

I highly recommend this! I've used it since it got release and it's helped me and my communities ALOT.
Theres is so much you can do with this and is really easy to use.

Any bugs that I've came accross have been fixed preety fast and the recent one due to steams login API.

@AiwaIs a very good developer and has helped me so much recently, I would recommend all his work if it's private or public.

Installed and enabled this plugin on my IPS 4.5 forum. Only thing I have trouble with is getting an API key added to the Application so it is functional. Other than that, this Application is amazing.
