Show a legend of your groups in the Who's Online and Recently Browsing widgets, sorted in the order you specify and linked to the search system. Handy so that people know what those group prefixes and suffixes mean.

FYI: Be sure you are running the latest version on the newer versions (4.3.x) of Invision Community. Also, if you end up with errors in the logs that seem to implicate GNI make sure you have EXIF installed - that's the root cause of the problem and the plugin is just getting caught in the crossfire.

Version 5 is for IPS 4.4.5 and above. Untested on earlier versions. Version 5 addresses changes within the IPS search subsystem that now REQUIRES a query parameter to be passed through. GNI urls now append a "&q= "  - and yes, the space after equals sign is intentional and necessary. If you edit the plugin template files, do keep this in mind.

What's New in Version 5.3   See changelog

  • Moves the blank &q= bit in the url to the end of the url to fix extremely rare custom theme/js/server conflict. No need to upgrade if everything is working for you otherwise.
  • 5.3 has a small bug fix (I used the same on/off var for both widgets)

Shoot me a PM if there is a problem.

It works as expected, without any issues, and without any unnecessary toggles, text, or anything else.  Simple and straightforward which is what I prefer.

Great plugin. Simple and easy to use. I'd love to see a similar plugin where user names are displayed on the forums, their profile, etc with the group styling.

Works just as described, right out of the box. Great plugin, as per usual.

Does exactly what it is built for. Displays user groups as a guide, no more wondering who is who. Good Job! Well built.

It doesn't work with version 4.3!

Any update?

This is working fine on 4.3.6, if you need support shoot me a PM, not a "review"

Worked great before IPS 4.4.5, tried patch for 4.4.5 and it still throws me on advanced search page when I click group in legend. Hope will be fixed soon 🙂

UPD: Nevermind, I am idiot had modified template, works good.
