Some browsers not able to work correctly with Cyrillic links. This simple plugin converts Cyrillic characters into Latin in all new URLs on your IPS Community Suite.
Please note: This plugin convert only new urls while creating or saving any content. This plugin DOES NOT automatically converts any existing old urls.

Supported languages: Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Greek, Turkish, Romanian, French, Italian, Spanish.

Working as advertised on 4.3. Thanks to custom rules I can cease to worry about Polish letters in my addresses ?. Also free and is being updated - thank you very much!

hello! just downloaded it   and works brilliantly,  (am running 4.1.17 !)

when saving a link it automatically changes it to the translit url. 

and , there is a place where you can set your custom NEW substitutions! SUPER  @Ilya Hoilik  !! ! BRAVO! :sorcerer:

If you want forum links to be transliterated after installation of this plugin, you need to clear SEO strings (that is in russian now) in forum database. 

Here is an example for topics, posts and members. Please add db_prefix_ if you have one. 

UPDATE core_members SET members_seo_name='';
UPDATE forums_forums SET name_seo='', seo_last_title='', seo_last_name='';
UPDATE forums_topics SET title_seo='';

You need to do it also for calendar, annoncments and other applications installed on your community suite.
