This plugin replaces the default IPS4 front-end login/registration system with WordPress.
This plugin contains the following features
Role syncing: The ability to move users into IPS4 groups dependant on the role assigned to them in WordPress. Account Management: Relevant account management pages are redirected to the WordPress counterparts Login/Register/Logout redirection: After clicking the login/register/logout links, the user will be directed back to the IPS4 page they were on Invision Community 4.2 compatibility Invision Community 4.3

Important considerations
Your WordPress and IPS4 installation MUST BE on the same domain (sub-domains are fine). - Sub domains require a modification to your WordPress configuration. This plugin completely replaces the front-end login system. If you wish to use any other SSO/Social logins, these must be configured in WordPress instead. Users must have a WordPress account to sign in, you may need to import your IPS4 users to WordPress if they do not already have an account This SSO cannot be used to log users into the AdminCP. They will need to use a password that can be set locally (by another admin, edit the user account and 'change' password) Please make sure that you understand these considerations and are happy with them before purchasing, there will be no refunds.
Compatibility
This SSO should be compatible with most versions of WordPress, however it has only been tested on the later versions (4.4.x+)

Yes, from 14th of June 2018, it's released to GPL 3.
Do my website/app need to be on the same server as IP.board?
no, since IPBWI API v4, there is no local access to board files required anymore. We utilize the IPS connect and IPS Rest API services which allow to connect to IP.board. While IPS Rest API doesn't offer all features and endpoints required, you will need to install an IPBWI API application within IP.board to extend the IPS Rest API. This application is served with this package.

How does SSO work?
IP.board brings a SSO API which allows to add several "slaves" as satellites to a "master" IP.board installation. This results in a robust single sign on solution allowing unlimited slaves even on completely different domains - same origin policy which normally breaks setting cookies for different domains has been bypassed here successfully.

WordPress 4.9 or higher IPcore/IP.board 4.2 or higher PHP 7 While this software might run on configurations with older versions, we always develop, test and support for most current versions only.

With this plugin, you replace the whole WordPress' comment system - instead, IPS forum topics will be created upon first comment of a WordPress post. While the recent topics are displayed on WordPress, further discussion can unleash within your community suite.
You are able to fully customize this plugin on update save ways, e.g. via a custom comment area template within your WordPress' theme or via language files and filters.
While WordPress' Avatars are sitewide replaced by IPBWI for WordPress v4 core plugin, all comment authors will show their corresponding IPS member avatars, too.

IPBWI for WordPress v4 - Sync Groups
Automatically synchronize WordPress' user roles with IPS community suite groups!
No core files touched!
Once you have mapped the WordPress user roles with IPS user groups of your choice, you will get IPS secondary usergroups synced with WordPress' user roles.
Primary Group in IPS community suite remains untouched - this allows you to give users in IPS and WordPress extra permissions without showing them to public.
You can map each WordPress user role to a unique corresponding IPS user group or map several WP user roles to the same IPS user groups - once a user group in IPS is removed or added from member, all mapped user roles from WordPress are synced instantly, too.
