By opentypePages SuperGrid is a set of Pages templates and a complete solution to make your Pages databases (with articles, directories and so on) appealing and engaging.
SuperGrid is one of the most popular files in the Applications & Plugins category on the IPS Marketplace and used on hundreds of websites.
IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with the Pages application A pages databases that uses the stock Record Image field and has images with a sufficient resolution uploaded through that field.
(Technically, the templates also work without images, but it’s an image-centered design and works best when most or all records have images.) Which templates are included:
A beautiful grid-based Front Page template with two records featured at the top — for when your database is set to article mode. A beautiful grid-based Listing template replacing the dull forum listing design — for when you open a category or have a database without categories. A unique Record View template with a large header image — for when you open a specific record. A category listing template – in case you use more than one category. Note: You can use the templates for any number of databases, but the settings will always apply to all SuperGrid templates. Bonus Feature:
Block template! Create blocks anywhere on your site – pointing to your database – and make them as beautiful as the database itself.
Detailed Feature Description and Notes:
Pages SuperGrid is built with the IPS design framework and is therefore fully responsive and compatible to most well-coded/well-designed themes. The styling of your theme(s) is inherited and the Pages SuperGrid templates will usually work out of the box. The template is designed to work on single-column pages with or without a sidebar. The grid will automatically adopt to the available width and collapse on smaller devices. The content field is not shown in the grid-based listing templates and all images will be scaled and cropped (without distortion) to the same size to allow a consistent look. The templates come with lots of options you can easily adjust within the template. Front Page/Listing Template: Show reaction images or reaction count Show author/category/date: Yes/No Alignment author/category/date Show comments/views/ratings/likes: Yes/No Alignment comments/views/ratings/likes Show record owner’s avatar: Yes/no Alignment record owner’s avatar Title alignment Image Aspect Ratio Use thumbnail or full-size images Turn images into record link: Yes/No Assign fallback image for records without an image Show “featured record” badge for featured records: Yes/No Pick badge style for featured records Show “pinned record” badge for pinned records: Yes/No Pick badge style for pinned records support for category images using the Pages Category Images plugin Record View Template: Image Aspect Ratio Pick Avatar size from 7 options Turn header image on or off Show “featured record” badge for featured records: Yes/No Pick badge style for featured records Show “pinned record” badge for pinned records: Yes/No Pick badge style for pinned records Block Template: Show or hide block title Shuffle entries Randomize shuffled entries

By opentypePages SuperReviews is a set of Pages templates to create review sections on your site using Pages databases. Use the full power of Pages combined with a beautiful template set adding additional functionality, like multiple review fields per entry, review Pro’s and Con’s, review quote and easy-to-use galleries.
IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with the Pages application. You should be familiar with setting up Pages databases. What is included:
A Pages template set for the views: frontpage, record listing, category listing and record view A Pages block template for record feeds from your review databases A settings plugin to customize the review databases detailed installation instructions as PDF Detailed Feature Description:
To accomodate different use cases, SuperReviews supports 3 different modes.
MODE 1 – Stock Reviews This mode uses the stock review system. A review will therefore only consist of a rating value and a review text. Demo: https://www.opentype.space/mode1/ Advantages: Can easily be applied to existing Pages databases Beautiful layout specificially designed for review databases (frontpage, listing, record, category, block) Disadvantages: no additional review fields
MODE 2 – Pages records as reviews In this mode, each record of a Pages database is used as a review itself. Demo: https://www.opentype.space/mode2/ Advantages: Multiple rating fields can be used and a combined rating is calculated automatically Beautiful layout specificially designed for review databases (frontpage, listing, record, category, block) Special field treatments can be activated: Galleries (from upload fields), PRO’s & CON’s fields, Quote field Reviews can be created without the need to have an entry for the item being reviewed first. Disadvantages: reviews of the same item are unconnected
MODE 3 – Linked Reviews This mode combines the best of mode 1 and 2. Two databases are being used. One to hold the items being reviewed, one to hold the reviews itself. Demo: https://www.opentype.space/mode3/ Advantages: Multiple rating fields can be used and a combined rating is calculated automatically Beautiful layout specificially designed for review databases (frontpage, listing, record, category, block) Special field treatments can be activated: Galleries (from upload fields), PRO’s & CON’s fields, Quote field Disadvantages: Reviews can only be created when the item to review was set up in a separate database first
Which option to choose?
Mode 1 is the most simple option. You can even assign it easily to existing databases with reviews. It doesn’t change much of the functionality but it gives your review database a much more beautiful and engaging look. Mode 2 is more elaborate. Users can add new records to your database and each record acts as its own review. This is a good choice if a large number of items can potentially be reviewed. Any number of review fields can be used and you can set up galleries, PRO’s and CON’s fields, a quote field and of course all the other stock Pages fields. Mode 3 is the most elaborate option, which works more similar to big review websites. You can control which items are reviewed in a separate Pages database. This is useful for a smaller amount of items you want to set up yourself in advance or you also can give certain usergroups access to this database and you might even sell the access.
Reviews are then added to a different Pages database including all the field options listed for Mode 2. The reviews can be viewed as individual entries, but they are also pulled in automatically for the entry that was being reviewed. There a user-defined number of latest or random reviews are being shown along with stats of all the reviews. The overall rating is calculated from all the entries linking in.

IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with both the Pages and Forums application. By opentypePages SuperDocs is a set of responsive Pages templates. It is loosely based on the design of the IPS Developer Documentation section, but the concept has been extended into a turnkey solution for all sorts of category-based Pages databases.
IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with the Pages application A pages database that uses Categories. (Up to 4 levels can be shown in the Record View navigation) What’s recommended:
Pages SuperDocs is compatible with the Pages Category Images plugin. Upload images for your database categories with it and Pages SuperDocs will make your database look even more appealing (See screenshots for a comparison). Without this plugin, you will only be able to change the header image of the SuperDocs templates. Which templates are included:
A category listing template to be used as the homepage for your database. It features a header box with the database title and description on a user-defined color gradient and background image. A Listing template replacing the dull forum listing design that is used by default. Both your categories and records are shown in a simplistic and beautiful grid layout. If you have the Pages Category Images plugin, your category images will be shown here as well. A unique Record View template. It supports all the stock features (Ratings, reactions, comments, reviews …), but adds a useful navigation tree at the side. With it, users can easily jump between individual records. The main level is always shown. All categories and records within a main level entry will be shown automatically, once you open records within that category. For database with many records per category, the output of records in the navigation can be suppressed. Note: You can use the templates for any number of databases, but the settings will always apply to all SuperDocs templates. Detailed Feature Description and Notes:
The templates are fully responsive but work best on pages without a sidebar, since the included navigation in the record view adds a column to the layout. The templates come with several options you can easily adjust through the included settings plugin. Base color—Used for the category boxes and the gradient Gradient color—When different from base color, creates a gradient for the header area Category image aspect ratio—Only used if you have the category image plugin installed. Box font color—The font color in the header area sitting over the box and gradient colors Active color—Link color of the active record in the SuperDocs navigation Use custom header image—Link a file to be shown in the header area Author in Record View—show/hide author in record view Levels of Records—How many levels of records are shown in the navigation? Category box text alignment—left/center/right alignment of text in category boxes

By opentypeIf you use a Pages database for articles, you can turn on a nice blog-style “article mode” for it — but just for the frontpage view. In the listing view for the categories of your articles you will see a “forum-style” view. If you don’t like that, this template solves this problem. You can assign it to your database or individual categories and your category listings will look like the article mode frontpage.
IPS 4.3/4.4 in their most recent version with the Pages application I am providing this free of charge. If you like it, feel free to check out my commercial Pages templates as well.

LMS Plus allows you and your community to create their own Schools within the community. Inside of those schools you and your community members can create and charge (optional) for access to educational courses. As the site admin, you can set a base commission. As a school owner, or Dean, of the school, you can set a commission rate for courses within your school. Using the power of IPS Group system, the possibilities are endless.
Here is how the LMS breaks down:
Schools: This feature allows your users to create a "University" within your community. Much like a user having their own Blog. School owners can then assign instructors to courses within the school. Courses: Each course has its own sales page and the ability for your users to enroll in each course. You, as the site admin, can choose whether the default display will be Schools or Courses. Modules (a kind of Category for your lessons) Lessons Quizzes and Assignments (coming in a future release) Clubs: optionally you can assign a course to a club, granting access to a course's enrolled students to a club. As you can imagine this opens up a LOT of opportunity and functionality to your students and instructors to setup their own community for each course. LMS Plus is a core application. This means that it is meant to be built upon with applications, plugins, themes, and integrations both by us and by third-party developers. The core application has everything you need to get up and running with creating and selling schools, courses, modules, and lessons.
Quizzes, Assignments, and Certifications are not yet included in this release but they will be added in the near future.
We have created a website for LMS Plus where you can test the system out for yourself as well as provide suggestions, bug reports, third-party applications, and find support documentation (coming soon).
Commerce is required to sell courses using the LMS. We have not tested the application without commerce installed.
LMS stands for Learning Management System.
Learning, because you use it to deliver education courses or training programs.
Management, because it helps you organize these courses (create them, change them, assign them to students, grade them, etc).
System, just a fancy word that translates to "Application" or "Software".
Just like Word helps you write documents and Gmail helps you manage your emails, an LMS is a software program that helps you create, manage and deliver online educational courses
Who uses an LMS?
Anybody who's doing eLearning is using an LMS ― and that includes a whole lot more than just educational institutions.
To give a non-exhaustive list:
Businesses of all sizes, from large multinational enterprises to small and medium businesses. Traditional educational institutions (schools, universities, colleges). Online and eLearning based educational institutions (online schools from Khan Academy to Lynda.com). And now, online communities of all sizes. What are they using an LMS for?
An LMS can be used for all kinds of learning activities. But it's also an invaluable business tool, one that has been embraced by enterprises and organizations big and small.
Here are some of the most common use cases for an LMS platform:
The need to train new employees or teach existing employees new skills is a constant, whether you are an insurance company, a scooter factory, a hospital or a government organization.
With an LMS you can cut down on costs and eliminate business disruptions associated with traditional learning, by letting your employees study the material online and at their own pace.
Employee or Community Member orientation
The all-important task of onboarding a new hire or new community member can be automated and handled easily by an LMS.
It's also a good place to educate your new hires on your company's employee conduct code, privacy guidelines, and race/sexual harassment policies.
Teach your community members how to navigate your community, use the site, forums, applications, etc etc.
Training your employees is one thing, but learning from them is also important. A knowledge retention program ensures that valuable skills, techniques and information stays with your company when your employees leave or retire.
It's also a good fit for an LMS platform, as you don't want this valuable information to just sit in some document management system that nobody ever checks, but to have it available at all times to train new employees or people coming from other departments.
Last, but not least, an LMS is a good fit for general education offerings.
It could be a school selling online lessons, a traditional educational institution supplementing its classroom-based courses, a business educating its clients.
In all these forms, and many more, eLearning is here to stay, to the degree that it might be the very future of learning.

Add full Emoji support to your community!
Adds over 1,500 Emoji to the "emoticons" dropdown on your community. No set up required. Just install the plugin! Option to use EmojiOne style or use the Emoji style for the user's device. All your existing emoticons are still available. Emoji is stored as UTF-8 characters (not images) and so can be searched and displays even in areas where images are stripped (like search results).
Important, before you purchase: This plugin requires your database be in utf8mb4 mode. Go to AdminCP > System > Support. Next to the MySQL version, if you see an option to enable utf8mb4, run that tool. If you do not see it, you are already ready.
