Awesome Member Hovercards
Punch up those member hovercards! Expansive backgrounds! New "Yearbook Quote" feature! Let your members flash some personality and drive member engagement! Profile Fields available for use on the hovercard! Can disable the hover feature and turn it into a click feature - makes these cards available to tablet and phone users! This mod swaps out the usual member hovercard for a new template; one that emphasizes appearance and personality instead of just dumping profile information in a list which they can get by just visiting the member's profile anyways. The screenshots tell all!
What's there?
Big full-sweep coverphoto (support for default as well), all the new badge stuff, registration, online status, and more.
Where's that image coming from?
That's the member's coverphoto! If they don't have one the Invision Community default profile background stuff is used.
New Yearbook Quote Feature?
Although I debated sticking in a member's status update as the centered text, there are too many reasons not to, including not everyone is using status updates, often times those updates are throw-away notes about nothing, updated rarely, and so on. With a specific quote feature your members have the opportunity to flash some personality - be it describing themselves, Tinder-like blurbs, using a quote from a movie or video game, and so on.
Why not use the About Me feature from the profile?
That's a full editor field - images and lots of other things can go in there. This is meant to be simple and direct.
Can I change that name to something else instead of Yearbook Quote?
Yep! In settings. Hoverboard Quote, Hovercard Quote, Quote, Say Something, Tinder Blurb, whatever... Call it what you want!
Is this stuff also on the profile pages?
Yes - it's also where they add/edit it. Click the gear icon to have at it.
Can I use the Yearbook Quote feature but not the new fancy hovercards?
Sure. You can toggle on/off the use of the new hovercards in settings. To completely disable everything just toggle the plugin off in the ACP.
Profile Fields Too?
You bet! Select which ones to pass through to the template (admin-only and editor fields excluded at the moment). See the support topic for how to customize the display of these. Fields with short (length) text will work best here.
All the little content bits are in flex-boxes, including your profile field adds. Look at the screen shots to get an idea how they will flow in.
What are "Click Cards"?
You can actually disable the hover functionality of these member hovercards. When you do that, users will need to click the member avatar to trigger the display of the card. When the cards are set to hover-mode, they appear when the mouse cursor hovers over a member avatar and these will, since it is a mouse hover action, only appear to desktop users - tablet and phone users never see these cards. When you toggle the cards to click functionality that covers tapping and thse will now display to tablet and phone users just fine. This is a usability decision to be made by you and you alone. If you ask for my opinion I'd consider how many of my visitors are tablet/phone based before enabling this feature. If you have more mobile than desktop, go for it! You can always turn this off later. Version 5 adds the ability to apply this functionality to the user names as well.
Moderation?
Of course. If a member has not entered a quote yet, the box will appear only that member and no one else (mods and admins included), with text telling that member to add a quote. Once a quote is entered, the quote will appear to everyone AND mods and admins will have to power to also edit those quotes. Mod permission is being able to edit profiles, if a mod has that, they can edit these. And yes, mod/admin actions on these items will appear in the Moderators Log in case you have some mods/admins deciding to mess with people instead of actually correctly moderating inappropriate content (whatever that is for your community...)
Anything in the ACP?
Other than the plugin settings and entries in the Moderators Log, no, nothing in the ACP Member view or anything like that. All moderation takes place on a member's profile page in the Yearbook Quote block. If you have a member who continually abuses this quote feature by inputting stuff you don't want, the solution isn't adding more permissions to disable this feature on a member by member basis - the solution is to ban the member.
Anonymous Users?
Yes, accounted for. Anon users can browse with little worry of being "found out".
Customs Available?
Sure! Some communities may want some community-specific information to appear on the hovercard. Not a problem. Expect to pay a (nominal one time fee) if it is something that can benefit all users of this mod in which case you are sponsoring a new feature for everyone (and paying to get it done now instead waiting for me to get around to it) or a (nominal one-time fee X 2) for a mod specific to your community only, provided it is doable.
Next?
V12 will have dark mode support. I've got some ideas on a few large improvements and that will take some time and likely push this into an application (its a plugin right now). I'll probably grandfather in old purchasers unless I lose my mind re-working it.
Notes
If you have other mods that push something to the member hovercards there is probably a 100% chance that this mod will not accommodate them as it is an entirely new template. Version 11 is for 4.6 exclusively
License/Support
Support available for the time being in the IPS Marketplace topic. You are allowed to use this, after purchasing a license and downloading this from the IPS Marketplace, on one live site and any test/dev sites you have. Additional live sites require additional license purchases. Renewals (per purchase) entitle you to updated versions and ongoing support. Support is limited to the default IPS theme and is for IPS license holders current on the application/plugin renewals (with a generous grace period). I'll give a hand, time permitting, to help you figure out what is wrong with your custom theme if there is a conflict but fixes in those cases will need to be made by your theme provider. iAwards
By InvisionHQ
The long awaited awards application for IPS has arrived!
iAwards provides administrators the ability to award their members with badges that show in their profile and, if chosen, on their posts.
Standalone this application has the ability to manually award members and to award members based on the amount of awards the member has. You can award both from the ACP as well as from the create menu at the top of your site.
In order to give everyone a fully customizable way to award we have integrated it with the Rules application.
This gives you the power to award your members based on rules that you create instead of the ones that we think up.
Features include:
Choose location of awards – Under the post or under the author pane. Hide awards – To allow members to show the ones they want. Award based on number of awards. Manual awarding. Upgrade Tools for both HQ Awards and Awards (Free). Category and awards management. Support topic at IPS: Click Here

(NE) Translate
A launch price of $25 ($10 yearly renewal) is in effect, which is 50% off the price of the planned price of the application. This special price offer will end on 31st January 2022, at which point the price will revert to $50 ($20 yearly renewal)
Here's what it does do... Shows a 'Translate' link/menu below the content in Forum/Calendar/Pages* (support for other applications may be added depending on popularity of this application) * "Pages" will require a manual action by the admin to add something to the 'Display' template(s) for their database. Uses Google's Cloud Translation REST API (Basic) or DeepL's Translator API (before purchasing this application, please ensure that you are aware that there are potential further costs involved in the use of these APIs - https://cloud.google.com/translate/pricing & https://www.deepl.com/pro/change-plan?cta=header-prices/#developer are the specific links to refer to on this) You, the Admin, can choose from the list of the API's supported languages and make those available to the user for use (would be a good idea - Google supports approximately 100 target languages while DeepL currently supports 28 target languages If you choose to display one language for use, then a single link is available to the user But if you choose more than one language then a menu will appear listing the configured available languages. You can also choose who can see the translate option. When a language is selected, the content will be sent to the configured API using REST, translated and returned. The returned translation will be processed and the content will be replaced. Additionally, each translation is stored in the database so that further translation requests for the same content are pulled from there instead of being translated via the API. If the original content is edited then any translations stored in the database will be discarded, ensuring that any further translation requests do not provide an out-of-date translation, and always translate the current content. Functionality exists to allow you to view the translations in the ACP and refine the translation if you so wish. Translations can be 'protected' so that the editing action above doesn't discard the translation - useful if you have refined the translation and wish to retain that refinement In this case, if an edit is performed then a clear indication will be displayed in the ACP advising that the translation is out-of-date due to the original content being edited. The user can revert to the original content at any time by clicking a link to do so. Usage logs are available in the ACP for each translation request, so you can see basic information about requests made from your site out to the APIs (both of which have their own console available which provides detailed usage information), along with requests made to content saved in the database. Here's what it doesn't do... It does not translate your entire site at the flick of a switch. If that is something you are seeking then you would have to implement your own Google Translate functionality on your site (https://www.dummies.com/article/technology/notable-websites/google/how-to-install-google-translates-website-translator-plugin-145074) Translation of content at the time of display, as opposed to a user choice Why? Translation is performed via a REST API request - each item of content in a topic, for example, would need to be sent to the API. In a topic with multiple posts then this will mean up to 25 REST API requests being performed to display each page of the topic. That is going to result in a performance hit, and is not something I am willing to put in place at this time. Will it be a future feature? Maybe, but no promises. The application's settings contain instructions on how to do the following:
Configure a Google Cloud API key Configure a DeepL Translator API key Manually add the application's HTML template to your database's 'Display' templates

Email Drip Campaigns
By rebraf
Introducing email drip campaigns!
Drip campaigns are a defined series of emails that are sent automatically to members. For instance, you may want to welcome new users who register on your community, and then send a follow up email a month later to make sure they're getting the most from your site. Or you may wish to send a user a series of marketing related emails when they purchase a specific product on your site. The use-cases are endless, and email drip campaigns are a powerful and versatile tool in any marketer's toolbox.
Until now you would have had to do this manually, maintaining lists of email addresses and remembering dates that you've contacted them. Not anymore! Now you can put your users on "set it and forget it" email campaigns with just a few clicks.
How does it work?
In the AdminCP under the "Members" tab, a new area is available named "Drip Campaigns". You create one or more campaigns in this area, and then one or more steps for each campaign. It's perfectly fine to create just one step if you wish, such as an introductory email to new users. Or, alternatively, you can create multiple steps - as many as you want.
When you create a campaign you define whether the campaign be automatically or manually assigned? Currently you can automatically assign campaigns by:
New user registration User is moved to a new (primary) group User purchases a product or subscription from your site User makes their first post User creates their first blog User creates their first album User creates their first club After creating the campaign you will then create one or more steps in the campaign. When creating steps you can configure:
The title and body of the step. You can use a WYSIWYG editor, or a code editor for finer control. Whether the notification to the user should be sent via email or personal conversation. If using email, whether to use the email wrapper or not If using personal conversation, the conversation starter account You can use bulk-mail style tags for a more personalized touch How long since the last step (or since the campaign was assigned to the user for the first step) before the contact should be sent, including immediately. And then that's it!
If the campaign is set to be assigned automatically, you don't have to do anything further.
If the campaign is not set automatically, or you wish to manually assign it, you can do this from one of two manners:
When viewing a member account in the AdminCP, you can see which campaigns the member has been assigned to, the current progress, the date the next step will process, and the ability to cancel, resume or restart any campaigns. You can also assign new campaigns when viewing an individual member. Alternatively, you can mass-assign members to any specific campaign. A member search form will be presented allowing you to define which members to assign, and all members that match your filter selections (the same selections available when sending a bulk mail) will be assigned. I'll be looking out for feedback as to new ideas and auto-assignment requests as well, so leave me your feedback.

Babble: Real Time Chat
By CodingJungle
Request a babble demo today! The demo is good for 30 days, fully functional, with a max user limit of 50. I will be limiting demo's to a total of 20 at a time, so they do not impact the overall performance of the chat service for my clients, so they are given on a first come, first serve basis. They will replenish as keys expire and are freed up.
This is the self hosted version of babble chat. it requires you to have access to nodejs or provide nodejs for it. this is a unconditional requirement for this application.
Babble is a new type of chat, for a new age of the internet. Babble is a real time chat ( using socket.io ), messages are sent to all who are connected, instantly without waiting. Babble offers several advantages over other chats, one of the biggest is drastically reduced server resource use (especially as new members join the chat).
Features
Multiple Site Rooms Private Rooms (rooms that are created by users, that can then invite other members into the room) Whispers (Private Messages, these are one to one convo's between 2 members) Clubs Integration (allow clubs to create rooms for their club) 2 Viewing modes (Global Chat Bar and Legacy View mode) Room Sounds (receiving/sending messages or entry/leaving of a room will play a sound, this is user configurable). Room Bots (there are several bots available to set for site rooms, and bots can be made available for private/club rooms) Room Commands, commands allow you to perform various actions by sending them thru the message area. Online List Browser Notifications (receive a browser notification if the browser is unfocused and new messages have been sent to any of the rooms you are a member of) Offline @mention notification (if user is mentioned in a chat, and is offline at the time, they will receive a notification about being mentioned in the chat, user must have access to the room to be able to receive the notification). Private Room Limits - max amount of private rooms a user group can create Private/Club bot limits - this allows you to configure how many and what kind of bots a user group/club can have in their rooms. and much more Bots
Babble Offers several bots that can be configured for site rooms and bots can be configured by private and club room owners (permission based in the ACP for groups). Bots can be configured to target specific users groups (who to show to and who can trigger them).
Count - this bot will be triggered after x amount of new messages Phrase - can be setup to be triggered by a keyword or phrase that will trigger it (can limit how many matches it makes in the ACP) Time (minutes or clocks) - These bots can be configured to run every x minutes or at a specific time of the day (based on server time, not user time). Notifications - can be configured to receive notifications from new content from various other IPS and 3rd party apps. Registrations - will send a message when there is a new registration to the site Custom Trigger Bot - this bot is an advanced bot, and PHP can be used to setup its trigger conditions. this bot will not be available to be used by private or club rooms, due to its advanced nature, it could be configured to have a negative impact on your community. it can only be configured for site rooms, in the ACP by users who have access to the ACP and babble. Custom Time Bot - this is similar to the above bot, but it can be configured to run at a specific time or x amount of minutes. the same restrictions have been applied to this bot as the one above. Commands
Commands are more or less a relic of a bygone era, they are styled in the fashion of commands you would find in like IRC/Slack offers now days. There are various stock ones that babble comes with by default, and you are able to add new ones. The commands can be limited to user groups (who can use them) and limited by which rooms they can be used in. You can even configure them to be able to be used in Private and club rooms. here is a list of the ones available by default in babble.
Announce - allows you to set an announcement in a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Ban - ban members from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Restrictions - show a list of members who have been banned or muted for that room, this command is considered a moderator command. Clear - clears a room's messages (this is only a temporary and doesn't delete the messages from the database). Facepalm - an "easter egg", everyone loves a good ol' facepalm Help - ironically a help command to show how to use the commands. Ignore - adds a user to your Accounts ignore list (will hide their messages and prevent them from sending you whispers). Kick - can temporally kick a user from a room that is being unruly, this command is considered a moderator command. Logout - logs you out of the site. Me - returns the message in a specialized way to set it apart from regular messages. Mute - mute a member in a room. this will mute a member, so their messages will not show to other members, but they will be able to see the messages themselves. This differs from ignore (as ignore is a user level 'mute'), this command is considered a moderator command. Notifications - this command allows a user to ignore the "notification bot" Password - allows a password to be set on a room, this command is considered a moderator command. (this command will force everyone in the room out and will display the password form). Purge - This will clear all the messages from a room, this permanent and will delete ALL messages from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Rand - if giphy is enabled in site enhancements, will randomly grab a giphy image or allow you to do a search for a random giphy image in a category. Reload - caused the page to refresh. Stats - if stats are enabled for a room, will show the stats. Topic - set a room topic (different from announcement, it is less pronounced and is underneath the room title), this command is considered a moderator command. Unban - allow you to unban a member from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Unignore - removes a user from your ignore list (i know unignore isn't a word ) Unmute - unmutes a member who has been muted before the mute expires, this command is considered a moderator command. Invite - this for private rooms, allows the room owner to invite a new user to the room Remove - this is for private room, allows the room owner to 'kick' a user from the room.
