Learn Plus LMS (Learning Management System)

The app is in update process (with new features) and will be avaiable to purchase at
    https://www.sosinvision.com.br/ips4/
LMS Plus allows you and your community to create their own Schools within the community. Inside of those schools you and your community members can create and charge (optional) for access to educational courses. As the site admin, you can set a base commission. As a school owner, or Dean, of the school, you can set a commission rate for courses within your school. Using the power of IPS Group system, the possibilities are endless.
Here is how the LMS breaks down:
Schools: This feature allows your users to create a "University" within your community. Much like a user having their own Blog. School owners can then assign instructors to courses within the school. Courses: Each course has its own sales page and the ability for your users to enroll in each course. You, as the site admin, can choose whether the default display will be Schools or Courses. Modules (a kind of Category for your lessons) Lessons Quizzes and Assignments (coming in a future release) Clubs: optionally you can assign a course to a club, granting access to a course's enrolled students to a club. As you can imagine this opens up a LOT of opportunity and functionality to your students and instructors to setup their own community for each course. LMS Plus is a core application. This means that it is meant to be built upon with applications, plugins, themes, and integrations both by us and by third-party developers. The core application has everything you need to get up and running with creating and selling schools, courses, modules, and lessons.
Quizzes, Assignments, and Certifications are not yet included in this release but they will be added in the near future.
We have created a website for LMS Plus where you can test the system out for yourself as well as provide suggestions, bug reports, third-party applications, and find support documentation (coming soon).
    LMS what?
LMS stands for Learning Management System.
Learning, because you use it to deliver education courses or training programs.
Management, because it helps you organize these courses (create them, change them, assign them to students, grade them, etc).
System, just a fancy word that translates to "Application" or "Software".
Just like Word helps you write documents and Gmail helps you manage your emails, an LMS is a software program that helps you create, manage and deliver online educational courses
    Who uses an LMS?
Anybody who's doing eLearning is using an LMS ― and that includes a whole lot more than just educational institutions.
    To give a non-exhaustive list:
Businesses of all sizes, from large multinational enterprises to small and medium businesses. Traditional educational institutions (schools, universities, colleges). Online and eLearning based educational institutions (online schools from Khan Academy to Lynda.com). And now, online communities of all sizes. What are they using an LMS for?
An LMS can be used for all kinds of learning activities. But it's also an invaluable business tool, one that has been embraced by enterprises and organizations big and small.
Here are some of the most common use cases for an LMS platform:
    Employee training
The need to train new employees or teach existing employees new skills is a constant, whether you are an insurance company, a scooter factory, a hospital or a government organization.
With an LMS you can cut down on costs and eliminate business disruptions associated with traditional learning, by letting your employees study the material online and at their own pace.
    Employee or Community Member orientation
The all-important task of onboarding a new hire or new community member can be automated and handled easily by an LMS.
It's also a good place to educate your new hires on your company's employee conduct code, privacy guidelines, and race/sexual harassment policies.
Teach your community members how to navigate your community, use the site, forums, applications, etc etc.
    Knowledge retention
Training your employees is one thing, but learning from them is also important. A knowledge retention program ensures that valuable skills, techniques and information stays with your company when your employees leave or retire.
It's also a good fit for an LMS platform, as you don't want this valuable information to just sit in some document management system that nobody ever checks, but to have it available at all times to train new employees or people coming from other departments.
    Education
Last, but not least, an LMS is a good fit for general education offerings.
It could be a school selling online lessons, a traditional educational institution supplementing its classroom-based courses, a business educating its clients.
In all these forms, and many more, eLearning is here to stay, to the degree that it might be the very future of learning.

    Babble Chat Service

Request a babble demo today! The demo is good for 30 days, fully functional, with a max user limit of 50. I will be limiting demo's to a total of 20 at a time, so they do not impact the overall performance of the chat service for my clients, so they are given on a first come, first serve basis. They will replenish as keys expire and are freed up.
Babble is a new type of chat, for a new age of the internet. Babble is a real time chat ( using socket.io ), messages are sent to all who are connected, instantly without waiting. Babble offers several advantages over other chats, one of the biggest is drastically reduced server resource use (especially as new members join the chat). This package is for the 1 year babble chat service, you will get updates and access to the chat service with your initial purchase for 1 year, after expiration of this package, babble will cease to function unless you keep your renewal current.
    After Purchase:
Babble requires a license key to connect to the chat service (this is a key provided by myself, it is not your IPS license key). You will need to contact me via PM after purchase, so I can provide you with this key.
NOTE: Babble connects to remote servers, provide by me, to facilitate the transfer of messages and other events associated with the chat. Copyright removal's are provided at my site, and the copyright license will make periodic  calls to my servers to validate the copyright key.
    Features
Multiple Site Rooms Private Rooms (rooms that are created by users, that can then invite other members into the room) Whispers (Private Messages, these are one to one convo's between 2 members) Clubs Integration (allow clubs to create rooms for their club) 2 Viewing modes (Global Chat Bar and Legacy View mode) Room Sounds (receiving/sending messages or entry/leaving of a room will play a sound, this is user configurable). Room Bots (there are several bots available to set for site rooms, and bots can be made available for private/club rooms) Room Commands, commands allow you to perform various actions by sending them thru the message area. Online List Browser Notifications (receive a browser notification if the browser is unfocused and new messages have been sent to any of the rooms you are a member of) Offline @mention notification (if user is mentioned in a chat, and is offline at the time, they will receive a notification about being mentioned in the chat, user must have access to the room to be able to receive the notification). Private Room Limits - max amount of private rooms a user group can create Private/Club bot limts - this allows you to configure how many and what kind of bots a user group/club can have in their rooms. and much more  Bots
Babble Offers several bots that can be configured for site rooms and bots can be configured by private and club room owners (permission based in the ACP for groups). Bots can be configured to target specific users groups (who to show to and who can trigger them).
Count - this bot will be triggered after x amount of new messages Phrase - can be setup to be triggered by a keyword or phrase that will trigger it (can limit how many matches it makes in the ACP) Time (minutes or clocks) - These bots can be configured to run every x minutes or at a specific time of the day (based on server time, not user time). Notifications - can be configured to receive notifications from new content from various other IPS and 3rd party apps. Registrations - will send a message when there is a new registration to the site Custom Trigger Bot - this bot is an advanced bot, and PHP can be used to setup its trigger conditions. this bot will not be available to be used by private or club rooms, due to its advanced nature, it could be configured to have a negative impact on your community. it can only be configured for site rooms, in the ACP by users who have access to the ACP and babble. Custom Time Bot - this is similar to the above bot, but it can be configured to run at a specific time or x amount of minutes. the same restrictions have been applied to this bot as the one above.  Commands
Commands are more or less a relic of a bygone era, they are styled in the fashion of commands you would find in like IRC/Slack offers now days. There are various stock ones that babble comes with by default, and you are able to add new ones. The commands can be limited to user groups (who can use them) and limited by which rooms they can be used in. You can even configure them to be able to be used in Private and club rooms. here is a list of the ones available by default in babble.
Announce - allows you to set an announcement in a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Ban - ban members from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Restrictions - show a list of members who have been banned or muted for that room, this command is considered a moderator command. Clear - clears a room's messages (this is only a temporary and doesn't delete the messages from the database). Facepalm - an "easteregg", everyone loves a good ol' facepalm   Help - ironically a help command to show how to use the commands. Ignore - adds a user to your Accounts ignore list (will hide their messages and prevent them from sending you whispers). Kick - can temporally kick a user from a room that is being unruly, this command is considered a moderator command. Logout - logs you out of the site. Me - returns the message in a specialized way to set it apart from regular messages. Mute - mute a member in a room. this will mute a member, so their messages will not show to other members, but they will be able to see the messages themselves. This differs from ignore (as ignore is a user level 'mute'), this command is considered a moderator command. Notifications - this command allows a user to ignore the "notification bot" Password - allows a password to be set on a room, this command is considered a moderator command. (this command will force everyone in the room out and will display the password form). Purge - This will clear all the messages from a room, this permanent and will delete ALL messages from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Rand - if giphy is enabled in site enhancements, will randomly grab a giphy image or allow you to do a search for a random giphy image in a category. Reload - caused the page to refresh. Stats - if stats are enabled for a room, will show the stats. Topic - set a room topic (different from announcement, it is less pronounced and is underneath the room title), this command is considered a moderator command. Unban - allow you to unban a member from a room, this command is considered a moderator command. Unignore - removes a user from your ignore list (i know unignore isn't a word ) Unmute - unmutes a member who has been muted before the mute expires, this command is considered a moderator command. Invite - this for private rooms, allows the room owner to invite a new user to the room Remove - this is for private room, allows the room owner to 'kick' a user from the room.

    Babble: Real Time Chat

This is the self hosted version of babble chat. it requires you to have access to nodejs or provide nodejs for it. this is a unconditional requirement for this application. if you are interested in this program, but can not provide access to nodejs, there is a service version located here:
Babble is a real time chat system using node.js and sockets. It uses less resources and doesn’t rely on long polling or interval scripts to check for new message. Babble is fully featured with those features laid out below.
Demo: http://codingjungle.com/babble (you will need to register or logged in to be able to see or use).
If you would like private demo of Babble, you can send me a PM here or on my site.
    Discussion Thread:
This thread is for discussion only, Support information is provide on file listing.
NOTICE: If you are upgrading Babble, you will need to restart your babble.js application. if you have moved it from the default directory you will need to take the updated one, verify the information it contains, and replace the one you removed and then restart the babble.js app for node.
    Requirements:
A modern browser that supports web sockets. (Firefox/IE11/Edge/Chrome/Safari supports websockets. For mobile browsers, I will only be supporting Safari and Chrome).
Node.js installed on a local or a remote server that can run a node.js script. I have only tested the last 4 versions of node.js, but the latest version of node.js you can install, the better.
nodejs v4.x+ (v0.10 and v0.12 do not ship with ECMAScript 2015 enabled by default and might have other version related issues with third party libs in use for babble)  and npm to be installed.
    Note:
babble requires node.js. This is an unconditional requirement. So many of the features of babble are node.js dependent, that there isn’t any fallback to another web technology (like ajax/long polling). With that in mind, Babble is very javascript dependent, it will not degrade gracefully if javascript has been disabled in the browser,if you have any tin foil hat wearing members, they will not be able to use babble.
    Note 2:
Cloudflare, cloudflare only has a limited range of ports that can be used if you choose to use this particular service, you will need to contact them about what ports are available to you. the only alternative to this is to use a sub-domain (not tied into cloudflare) and/or the servers IP address instead of your sites URL for the NODE URL in the ACP.
    Note 3:
**if you are running a server that doesn't use a LAMP ( Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) or LEMP (Linux, NGINX, MySQL, PHP) server, I will not be able to give support for. AFAIK node.js/socket.io will run on windows and mac os x, but configuration might prove difficult. As for *BSD servers, they should operate similar to a Linux server. Refunds will be given at my discretion, this does not mean I will not provide them for any reason, but for a valid reason.
Each purchase only entitles a installation on 1 live site and 1 dev site. If you wish to run babble on multiple sites, you will need to purchase babble for each site. If you are found in violation of this agreement, I can choose to revoke your access to future updates and support until the matter is rectified.
If you purchase a copyright removal, Babble will occasional make a call home to http://codingjungle.com to validate the copyright removal key. Copyright Removal keys will need to be purchased for each purchase of babble if you wish to run it on multiple sites without branding.
    Features:
Rooms: Babble comes with two default rooms that can not be removed. The “Babble” room is used by default for Babble, and the Widget Room is used by the “Widget” (the widget can be configured to use the default room).  Each room has permissions that can be set like “View, Message, Whisper, Edit, Delete, Upload, and Archives”. Each room also has the ability to be configured independently of each other on uploads (what types and sizes), how many messages to show by default, rules to show before entering the room. Rooms can also have 3 bots they can configure (more on bots later). Rooms can be password protected. Uploads: Each room can be configured to allow uploads.  If the upload is an image, the image will be “lazy loaded” and resized to fit the dimensions of the message area better. If it is a non-image upload, it will display a link to download. NOTE: Groups who can see the room, can also download and view images. Sounds: Babble comes with a collection of sounds for send, receive, entering, leaving and whispers. Users can enable or disable each sound as they see fit. The sound files can be replaced at any time in the ACP by pointing to the corresponding sound setting to the new location (this is to avoid future updates from overwriting your sound files). NOTE: due to some limitations in mobile OS’s (iOS and android) even if the sounds are enabled by the user, there is one additional step they must take to hear sounds on the effected OS’s. On mobile devices a Speaker Icon will appear, that will need to be activated to be able to hear sounds, this action must be done each page refresh. Whispers: Whispers are private messages that are sent in between users. They will open in a “tab” in the room and will flash when a new message is received if you aren’t currently active on the tab that is. Whispers only work inside the room, you currently can not “whisper” to some one who is not logged into the room you are in (at a later date this might change). Browser Notifications: A user can set how many new messages they receive in a room before a browser notification is triggered (or they can disable them all together). Currently these do not work on mobile OS’s, in the future I plan on adding notifications for iOS and Android. New Message Order: By default babble will order messages newest to oldest, for some users this might not be ideal, so they can reverse the order to oldest to newest. Any new message after this will honor the setting. Group Content: You can set a min. content count per room for each user group before they can send messages. You can use this feature as a reward to your members for participation on your site. Note: Messages made in babble will not increment content counts.  Command Aliasing: you can set any number of aliases to existing/custom commands, this will help if you want to "localize" the commands. Stats - if stats are enabled for a room, you can keep track of basic stats like how many messages have been made in a room, the most online ever in a room, the current day's tally of how many have been in a room, and the top 5 users who make messages in a room. Archive - if enabled, a user can select to load messages previous made in the room. this is a group permission. BOTS:
Babble comes with 4 bots, each serve a different function and are triggered in different ways.  3 of the bots can be configured per room, where the 4th bot can be configured to which rooms it sends messages too, as most of its settings are “global”. Hopefully Babble Bots can help you accomplish some pretty amazing things and enrich your users experience with babble.  Time Bot: the time bot can be configured per room*. This bot can be configured to send different messages at different times**.  You can use HTML/BBC in the bots messages. This bot runs from a task, so its HIGHLY recommend that you have your task configured to run as a cron job to see the best results. If not configured to a cron, this bot might not function properly. * you can configure this bot to store its messages in the database or not. Due to a technical limitation with node.js the bot is unable to check to see if there are any users in the room or not, so instead of having the chat history filled with messages from the time bot, they will “go away” on a page refresh. ** this is in minutes passed since the bot was configured, if you set a message to send every 10 minutes, then the first message will be sent 10 minutes after you configured the bot, and each additional message will be sent 10 minutes after this. Count Bot: This bot can be configured per room. You can configure this bot to send messages after x amount of messages sent by users*. You can also send different messages x amount of messages sent. You can use HTML/BBC and special variables(1) in your messages.  * this does not include whispers sent or messages from other bots. Phrase Bot: This bot can be configured per room. You can configure this bot to send messages when a match to a word/phrase is made. You can have multiple matches for the same message or multiple messages for different matches. You can use HTML/BBC and specials variables(1) in the messages. Notifications: This is the bot that has a global configuration. This bot will send messages out when new content is posted to the supported applications*.  Permissions are honored on these notifications, so if the user doesn’t have access to to view the area in question, they wont see the notification.  This bot can only be configured to tell it which rooms to run in, the rest of its settings are global due to its nature. * IPS applications are the only ones support for notifications. In theory any application that uses the content item class should work, but I have only tested my own application that use this and they will work with it, so I’m pretty sure it will work with the other 3rd party application that use the classes. Babble has some API elements to it that will be document on my site later, so any application it doesn’t support, the application developer should be able to create a hook without much of a problem. (1) There are special variables that the count bot and phrase bot have access to, that can be used in the message, to show the name of the person who triggered, the bot’s name, and the match (this is for the phrase bot only). Bots can use commands, if it the command requires a the members name, use the special variable #member# Commands:
Commands can perform special functions when issued. The commands can be issued thru the chat area (similar to how IRC does it).  Some commands have group restrictions.  You can add commands in 2 ways, in the ACP you can add basic commands , if you need more advanced functionality you can create a “command” file. Commands have been expanded greatly in 2.1, you can now "alias" them and the phrase/count bot can now use commands (the time bot can as well, but it wont have access to the #member# special variable).
    Command list:
Announce – adds or removes an announcement to the room Ban – bans a user for a room. Unban – unbans a user for a room. BanList – Show’s who has been banned from a room. Ignore – Ignore a user in a room. Unignore – Stop ignored a user in a room. Kick – kick a user from a room. Me – an action command for a room. Mute – Mutes a member for everyone in a room. Unmute – unmutes the member in a room. Mutelist – shows a list of users who have been muted. Notifications – disables or enables notifications from the notification bot. Topic – adds or removes a chat topic from a room. Rules - Show the rules for a room if they have them. Password - sets a password for a room Purge - deletes all the existing messages in a room Stats - displays a rooms stats if enabled Rand - display a random GIF from giphy.com and many more!

    Member Location

This plugin allows members to specify their physical location (accurate to the nearest town or city) and allows other members to search for members based on the location.
    Features:
Users can specify their location when registering or editing their profile. In the AdminCP you can set if the location is required in either or both of these locations. When entering a location, autocomplete is provided which automatically detects the user's physical location (based on their IP address) to find towns close by. Location shows on user's profile and when viewing the member list. If you have specified a location yourself, it will also show the distance between you and that member on the member list. When searching the member list, you can search for users within a certain distance (in miles or km, configurable from AdminCP setting) of a particular town or city and sort by distance from that place. When searching the member list, you can also sort results by distance from you without specifying a location. When viewing the member list, a quick "Members near me" link shows which will quickly filter the list to users close to your location and sort by distance. Works great with Enhanced Member List
Important: Before installing this plugin you must have configured your Google Maps API key
Latest version (1.2.x) is compatible with Invision Community 4.4.x. To use with older versions, download version 1.1.2 instead.

    Email Drip Campaigns

    Introducing email drip campaigns!
Drip campaigns are a defined series of emails that are sent automatically to members. For instance, you may want to welcome new users who register on your community, and then send a follow up email a month later to make sure they're getting the most from your site. Or you may wish to send a user a series of marketing related emails when they purchase a specific product on your site. The use-cases are endless, and email drip campaigns are a powerful and versatile tool in any marketer's toolbox.
Until now you would have had to do this manually, maintaining lists of email addresses and remembering dates that you've contacted them. Not anymore! Now you can put your users on "set it and forget it" email campaigns with just a few clicks.
    How does it work?
In the AdminCP under the "Members" tab, a new area is available named "Drip Campaigns". You create one or more campaigns in this area, and then one or more steps for each campaign. It's perfectly fine to create just one step if you wish, such as an introductory email to new users. Or, alternatively, you can create multiple steps - as many as you want.
When you create a campaign you define whether the campaign be automatically or manually assigned? Currently you can automatically assign campaigns by:
New user registration User is moved to a new (primary) group User purchases a product or subscription from your site User makes their first post User creates their first blog User creates their first album User creates their first club After creating the campaign you will then create one or more steps in the campaign. When creating steps you can configure:
The title and body of the step. You can use a WYSIWYG editor, or a code editor for finer control. Whether the notification to the user should be sent via email or personal conversation. If using email, whether to use the email wrapper or not If using personal conversation, the conversation starter account You can use bulk-mail style tags for a more personalized touch How long since the last step (or since the campaign was assigned to the user for the first step) before the contact should be sent, including immediately. And then that's it!
If the campaign is set to be assigned automatically, you don't have to do anything further.
If the campaign is not set automatically, or you wish to manually assign it, you can do this from one of two manners:
When viewing a member account in the AdminCP, you can see which campaigns the member has been assigned to, the current progress, the date the next step will process, and the ability to cancel, resume or restart any campaigns. You can also assign new campaigns when viewing an individual member. Alternatively, you can mass-assign members to any specific campaign. A member search form will be presented allowing you to define which members to assign, and all members that match your filter selections (the same selections available when sending a bulk mail) will be assigned. I'll be looking out for feedback as to new ideas and auto-assignment requests as well, so leave me your feedback.

    Awesome Member Hovercards

Punch up those member hovercards! Full-panel backgrounds! Joined and last visited times front and center! Text color changes based on online, offline status - anonymous members are accounted for too! New "Yearbook Quote" feature! Let your members flash some personality and drive member engagement! Profile Fields available for use on the hovercard! Can disable the hover feature and turn it into a click feature - makes these cards available to tablet and phone users! This mod swaps out the usual member hovercard for a new template; one that emphasizes appearance and personality instead of just dumping profile information in a list which they can get by just visiting the member's profile anyways. The screenshots tell all!
    What's there?
Joined Date, Last Visited (color changed based on online/offline status), Name, Primary Member Group (colored if group colors have been set), Yearbook Quote, Reputation, Content Count (as posts)
    Where's that image coming from?
That's the member's coverphoto! If they don't have one the Invision Community default profile background stuff is used.
    New Yearbook Quote Feature?
Although I debated sticking in a member's status update as the centered text, there are too many reasons not to, including not everyone is using status updates, often times those updates are throw-away notes about nothing, updated rarely, and so on. With a specific quote feature your members have the opportunity to flash some personality - be it describing themselves, Tinder-like blurbs, using a quote from a movie or video game, and so on.
Why not use the About Me feature from the profile?
That's a full editor field - images and lots of other things can go in there. This is meant to be simple and direct.
Can I change that name to something else instead of Yearbook Quote?
Yep! In settings. Hoverboard Quote, Hovercard Quote, Quote, Say Something, Tinder Blurb, whatever... Call it what you want!
Is this stuff also on the profile pages?
Yes - it's also where they add/edit it. Click the gear icon to have at it.
Can I use the Yearbook Quote feature but not the new fancy hovercards?
Sure. You can toggle on/off the use of the new hovercards in settings. To completely disable everything just toggle the plugin off in the ACP.
    Other settings?
Limit the quote length from the old Twitter limit of 120 characters up to 1024 characters. The last visited text has color applied to it when the user is online, configure the color here. Some translatable strings.

    Profile Fields Too?
You bet! Select which ones to pass through to the template (admin-only and editor fields excluded at the moment). See the support topic for how to customize the display of these.
    What are "Click Cards"?
You can actually disable the hover functionality of these member hovercards. When you do that, users will need to click the member avatar to trigger the display of the card. When the cards are set to hover-mode, they appear when the mouse cursor hovers over a member avatar and these will, since it is a mouse hover action, only appear to desktop users - tablet and phone users never see these cards. When you toggle the cards to click functionality that covers tapping and thse will now display to tablet and phone users just fine. This is a usability decision to be made by you and you alone. If you ask for my opinion I'd consider how many of my visitors are tablet/phone based before enabling this feature. If you have more mobile than desktop, go for it! You can always turn this off later. Version 5 adds the ability to apply this functionality to the user names as well.
    Moderation?
Of course. If a member has not entered a quote yet, the box will appear only that member and no one else (mods and admins included), with text telling that member to add a quote. Once a quote is entered, the quote will appear to everyone AND mods and admins will have to power to also edit those quotes. Mod permission is being able to edit profiles, if a mod has that, they can edit these. And yes, mod/admin actions on these items will appear in the Moderators Log in case you have some mods/admins deciding to mess with people instead of actually correctly moderating inappropriate content (whatever that is for your community...)
    Anything in the ACP?
Other than the plugin settings and entries in the Moderators Log, no, nothing in the ACP Member view or anything like that. All moderation takes place on a member's profile page in the Yearbook Quote block. If you have a member who continually abuses this quote feature by inputting stuff you don't want, the solution isn't adding more permissions to disable this feature on a member by member basis - the solution is to ban the member.
    Anonymous Users?
Yes, accounted for. The Last Visited text will always say yesterday (if consensus is to change it to something else I can do that in a later version) and it will never have the online colors applied. Anon users can browse with little worry of being "found out".
    Customs Available?
Sure! Some communities may want some community-specific information to appear on the hovercard. Not a problem. Expect to pay a (nominal one time fee) if it is something that can benefit all users of this mod in which case you are sponsoring a new feature for everyone (and paying to get it done now instead waiting for me to get around to it) or a (nominal one-time fee X 2) for a mod specific to your community only, provided it is doable.
    What's next?
I have another template in mind but I wanted to get what I thought was the best out in the open first. Have an integration or two as well bubbling about. That's for later though.

    Notes
If you have other mods that push something to the member hovercards there is probably a 100% chance that this mod will not accommodate them as it is an entirely new template. 4.3 compatible - maybe 4.2 but have not tested.
