What's an online visitor?
Our Cloud plans are based on the number of active, simultaneous online users your community can support. A visitor is 'online' when they are currently browsing your community, and for 15 minutes after. This includes both members & guests.
How do you measure my usage?
Our plans measure your online user count every 5 minutes, then calculate an average of the past 48 hours-worth of measurements, and it's this average which needs to be within your plan allowance. Because it's an average, spikes over the plan allowance aren't a problem if your traffic falls back to normal soon.
What happens if I go over the allowance?
If your average for the past 48 hours is over the allowance for your plan, our system will automatically upgrade you to the next plan level so that your site stays online. After the following month, you can downgrade to your previous plan, if desired.

Why choose Community in the Cloud?
No IT Team Required
Our Cloud plans are easy to manage - no installation, servers or server maintenance to worry about. We handle it all for you, giving you the ability to focus on developing your community instead.
All Apps Included
Our Cloud plans include all seven of our apps, so you get everything you need to build incredible communities, with discussion forums, file sharing, content management and more.
Use Your Own Domain
Want to use your own web address? No problem. Any Cloud plan can be set up to use a domain name you already own, for free. Simply enter it when creating your plan, and we'll be in touch to set it up.
Your Data Belongs To You
Unlike some other providers, we don't hold your data hostage or deny access altogether. It's yours, and should you decide to leave us we promise we will provide it to you, for free.
Fully Customizable & Integratable
Our Cloud plans include all the same customization and integration tools as the self-hosted license, including themeing, Wordpress & oAuth single sign-on, the ability to install third-party addons, and much more.
Powerful Infrastructure
Our Cloud platform is specially designed to power demanding communities. We have over 15 years' experience in hosting some of the best communities on the web, so you're in safe hands.

Self-Hosted Licensing
We also offer a self-hosted licensing option, allowing you to install Invision Community on your own in-house, self-managed infrastructure.
- Choose which apps you need
- Renew every six months
- Manage your own infrastructure
- Optional installation service available
